Terms and Conditions for application to fund
A reference from a teacher confirming present grading achieved (copy of music grade report or certificate) and future aims must be enclosed with application. If no exams have taken place, then full report from the teacher on student progress must be given.
Requests for instruments, books, scores for use at University, College or Music College. Applicants must
provide proof of acceptance on a relevant music course. Details must be provided of the make, model of
instrument from three reputable sources of purchase.
Books and scores, please provide edition and publisher from three separate sources. These details will be
needed before any application is considered.
Exam fee request, all applications will be considered on an individual basis. Full details of the college, grade and closing date of exam session must be given.
Funding for music focused trip, such as workshop, master class or concert. Full details of trip must be stated and countersigned by organiser.
Applications for groups and school activities must be applied for by the main organiser giving full details of the proposed event.
All applicants must be under the age of 19 years at the time of the event, activity or funding.
All applications will be considered by the Board of Trustees, and further information may be requested in
support of the application.
- Only one application may be made for funding during the academic year.
- Each application will be assessed on an individual basis.
- All offers of help from the charity will be valid for one year.
- No monies will be exchanged between applicants and the Board of Trustees.
- All decisions made by the Board of Trustees are final.
